Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pineville-Alexandria Area by IHG

We have stayed here before and the location is great if you need to be in Pineville LA. The service is fine and staff is friendly. The problem on this trip was the room. We checked in late at night and didn't discover until the next morning that shower curtain was completely NASTY and I don't mean just dirty or moldy, it appeared to be feces smeared on the outside of the curtain. The cleaning people should have seen this and replaced the curtain immediately. That was the main reason for the lower review. Its not the hotels fault for the incident but it is their responsibility to provide a clean room to the next customer. Other minor issues were a weird hole cut into the front side of the false part of the wardrobe area as if a light switch or something had once been there but removed and never repaired. Also the tub drained very slow resulting in standing water during showering. Parking was great, location is great. The prices were higher than normal for the suit but it was over Christmas time. We notified front desk of the issue and would have expected a follow up message from management. We will most likely stay here again but I can guarantee we will go over the room more thoroughly next time. If this had been my first experience at the hotel, I would not return, however, we have had great experience in the past.

I recently used the conference room at the Holiday Inn in Pineville, LA for a safety class that I co-taught with another occupational safety specialist, and it was a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and set up perfectly for our needs. Ashley Johnson was amazing to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to host a class or meeting. The accommodations and service were excellent.

This is a great hotel! We were traveling and chose to stop here for the night. Our kids were excited about being able swim after 12 hours of travel. A traveling sports team took over the pool area when we arrived. We waited and weren't able to access the pool before it closed. I'm definitely frustrated at the other customers' lack of care for those who also paid for room AND pool access. But the clean and cool rooms made it a little less frustrating.

This is my go to when me and my children just need a refreshing space and atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly. The breakfast is wonderful. Cheese omelettes are my favorite and there's a great selection for kid friendly options. If anything goes wrong with the TV or anything there is someone there immediately going the extra mile to ensure the stay is comfortable. Our last night we stayed in a suite. There's no activity that's suggestive of any criminal behavior. Not sure of names of employees, but the daytime front desk clerk was helpful and encouraging. We live in Colfax but we enjoy every time we visit. All appliances have always worked for us. Highly recommend. Also rooms are always clean. Me and my family love this place.

First time to stay at this property and very happy with the location. You can pass up the driveway really quick and then you have to go turn around and come back the other way. Parking is a little crowded and if they were running at capacity I think there could be some issues with parking, definitely not for big trucks nor pickups with trailers. Breakfast was good because they had cheese omelets and the rooms were very normal for a Holiday inn Express. Unfortunately I was on the end by the road so it was a little noisy but nothing overbearing. I'll be back to that property.

I highly recommend this hotel. Each of the front staff are friendly and efficient. They really seem to care. The room is good, dark, quiet, good bed and pillows, everything is clean. The breakfast staff may sometimes seem eager to close up breakfast a little early. Get there earlier and you'll have no problem.

I stayed here on my road trip to Texas and upon my return to Florida. The staff is courteous, the rooms and hallways are clean, the breakfast is good. This establishment is in a good location with restaurant options within 10 minutes drive. Alexandria is a good place to stop and rest especially if you're driving to avoid government shutdown airport issues.

I really liked everything. It was very pretty and modern. Coffee and breakfast was above expectations. Rooms were tidy. The view was pretty, and the breakfast room had a beautiful view. Nice lighting. Kind staff. My sight problem was that when we checked in, our room door was open. No problem, it was just a bit strange. Amazing experience.
